Lydia's House: Free One-Year Christian Residential Addiction and Destructive Lifestyle Recovery Program for Women
Lydia’s House is a free, one-year residential Christian recovery program for women coming out of addiction. Located in Wauchula, Florida, we provide a safe and loving home where women from across the United States can begin their journey toward lasting freedom and transformation from the inside out.
Our Christ-centered program helps women address the issues that contribute to destructive lifestyles while developing healthy relationships, coping skills, responsibility, work ethic, and a strong foundation in God’s Word. We serve women ages 18–49 from all walks of life who are ready to make a lasting change.
Lydia’s House provides a free, long-term residential recovery program for women seeking freedom from addiction and destructive lifestyles. Located in Wauchula, Florida, our one-year program provides women with a safe, structured environment where they can heal, grow, and prepare for a new way of life.
Our Christian recovery program is centered on Jesus Christ and the Word of God. Through Bible-based teaching, discipleship, life-skills development, accountability, and supportive relationships, women are encouraged to address the root issues behind destructive patterns and build a foundation for lasting change.
What Makes Lydia's House Different?
Lydia’s House is more than a place to stay—we provide women with an opportunity to build a new life. Our free, one-year residential program combines a safe home environment, Bible-based teaching, discipleship, accountability, life-skills development, and community.
Women are given time and support to work through the issues that have contributed to addiction and destructive lifestyles while developing the tools and confidence needed for life after the program.
Our Classes
Our Bible-based recovery classes help women address addiction, relationships, emotional health, personal responsibility, and the underlying issues that can contribute to destructive patterns. We offer classes designed to get to the roots of our issues. Classes include but are not limited to:
- Inner Healing
- Codependency/Boundaries
- Anger Management
- Regeneration
- The Mind is a Battlefield
How to Apply
If you or a woman you love is looking for a women’s residential addiction recovery program and is ready to take the first step toward freedom, we would love to hear from you.
To apply you will need to submit:
1. A completed application (link button below)
2. A minimum 5-page life story letter including:
- Your personal history and traumas
- When your addiction and issues began
- Your drug of choice and how long you have been using
- Description of your relationships–are they healthy or unhealthy?
- Complete contact information including name, address, phone number and email
